YOU... your views and your perspectives... are an essential part of these EXPLORATORY discussions on what a unified, ‘single-tier’ regional municipal government might look like in the Flagstaff Region. We want to know what you think about this governance model, other potential ‘Made in Flagstaff’ governance models, or perhaps other (additional) intermunicipal collaboration opportunities which may come up in our discussions.

Our goal is to continue to provide effective and efficient delivery of the highest-quality municipal services and infrastructure across the region AND to deliver this ‘standard of service’ at fair, reasonable, and affordable levels of taxation.

Intermunicipal Development Plan
Public Hearing

Council will hold a Public Hearing for Bylaw No. 2018-11 Intermunicipal Development Plan of the Village of Alliance and Flagstaff County in which any person may ask questions or make comments. The Public Hearing is scheduled for December 13th, 2018 at 5:00 pm.  The Public Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of the Administration Office located at 209 Main Street, Alliance AB T0B 0A0.

A copy of the proposed Bylaw No. 2018-11 may be picked up or inspected at the Village of Alliance Administration Office during regular office hours or CLICK HERE.
Written submissions regarding the Bylaw No. 2018-11 will be accepted before the Public Hearing.  Submission may be emailed to or delivered to:
