Garbage:
Alliance is part of the Flagstaff Regional Solid Waste Management Authority, based in Sedgewick. Residential garbage is collected weekly at a contracted rate of $15/month. Residential pickup is early Friday morning. Rented bins are available for commercial use.
Sewage:
Sewer rates are based on metered water usage.
$ 1.00/ cubic meter of water used.
Recycling:
Alliance has five recycle bins -two for cardboard and one for milk containers and #2 plastic, and two for composting. Recycle bins are serviced by Flagstaff Waste Management weekly. DO NOT PUT MATERIALS IN THE WRONG BINS - THIS WILL END UP BEING IN THE LANDFILL.
Tin cans, clear glass, and newspaper are also recycled. Tin cans must be washed, labels removed, and crushed. Glass should be washed, labels removed. Tin cans and glass may be placed in the blue barrels behind the village office. Newspaper goes in the wire bins. Only newspaper - no shiny paper, or office paper.
A bottle depot operates in the Village.
Water Supply:
Two wells supply the village through it's upgraded treatment plant. Water is metered.
Monthly rate is $30 for 8 cubic meters, and $1.75 for each additional cubic meter.
