Recreation
The Alliance Community Multiplex is located on the Recreation Grounds at the north end of Main Street. It has a natural ice surface, dressing rooms, shower, lobby and concession area. Winter hours are Monday to Sunday 10am to10pm except for special events. Public Skating is available whenever there is no event booked.
Skating fees are $300 for a family for the season, or $150 per single for the season. Drop in fee for one time skaters are asked to leave $5.00 at the Village Office or the dropbox installed at the entrance of the ice surface. Cheques should be made to

Bookings are done at the Village Office ( Phone 780-879-3911). If you wish to have a concession booth for your event, please let us know and, if possible, we will operate it and keep the proceeds for maintenance costs.
Alliance Recreation Grounds features a trailer park with power, water, and a dump station. Fees are $25/night or $145/week and can be paid at the Village Office on Main Street. When the office is closed, please drop fees in the front door drop box. Public washrooms and a shower are located near the 4 camping stalls on the Recreation Grounds.
River Camp Ground Non-serviced camping is available at the campsite just south of Alliance near the Hwy 36 Battle River Bridge.
The Recreation Centre holds a meeting room and a library which is part of the Parkland Regional Library. Membership in the Library entitles the cardholder to borrow books from all over the Province. The meeting room is available to rent at $35.00 for the day.

Alliance Community Hall is owned and operated by the Alliance Agricultural Society. It has a full kitchen and bar area, auditorium which accomodates 225, stage and sound system. To make a booking call 780-879-3966. Rental rates are $200/day for use of the entire hall, $30 for a small meeting, and $300 for non-local renters.
Other facilities include a museum, a walking trail, 2 ball diamonds, a football field/soccer, several parks, a riding arena with pens and chutes for roping and other livestock events, and a new children's playground.
Located a few kilometers south of the Village is the Valley Ski Hill which offers artificial snow as well as a day lodge for skiers.
