Transportation
Air Services
The nearest airport is Castor (33 km. to the south), while the nearest commercial and air freight services are located in Edmonton.
Rail Services
In June 2009, CNR sold its line from Kelsey to Alliance to a new co-operative - Battle River Railway New Generation Co-operative (BRRNGC).
BRRNGC was formed by farmers, businesses, organizations and municipalities along the branch line. As of August 2012, their primary business is producer cars, but they continue to work to expand. Friends of the BRRNGC are working to purchase a passenger car for tourism.
Highways
Connecting highways are Highway 36, leading north to Killam #13, and south to Castor #12, and Secondary Highway 602, leading east to Secondary Highway 872.

Bus Services
There is no regular bus service to Alliance. Greyhound services are available daily from Castor or Killam, and on Weekends at Forestburg.

Taxi service is out of Killam.
