As of August 2012, their primary business is producer cars, but they continue to work to expand like the new loading station and scales built in 2016 in Alliance. Friends of the BRRNGC have recently purchased a passenger car for tourism. The Museum has donated the old Lineman's Shack to be used as a Train Station, and so the "Station on the Move" committee was formed to look after repairing and moving the building back close to its former home along the tracks by the memorial park which was completed in the fall of 2016, work continues fixing up the old siding and landscaping.
